This notice explains how TheBoldMark processes personal data you share through theboldmark.com, in line with Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
Who we are
TheBoldMark is a remote design and software team based in Istanbul and Bursa, Türkiye. Contact: hello@theboldmark.com, +90 541 182 90 70.
What we process
- Information you enter in forms: name, email, phone, company, website, your project needs and your answers to form questions.
- Source details such as the page a request came from, language and referring site.
- The address you scan with the website check tool and its result.
- For proposals accepted through a link: version, time and action details.
- Visit statistics: page views counted without cookies, using a random session number that only lasts while the browser tab is open. Each view includes the campaign (UTM) and the referring site's domain only (e.g. chatgpt.com); these do not identify you. Linking a project referral source to your request happens only with your explicit consent.
Why
- To review your request, reply and schedule a call.
- To prepare proposals and deliver agreed work.
- With your consent, to email relevant guides and case studies.
- To keep the site secure and understand page usage in aggregate.
Legal bases
Steps necessary to enter into or perform a contract, our legitimate interests, and your explicit consent for marketing messages and referral attribution (KVKK Art. 5).
Sharing
We share data only with the infrastructure providers we use to run the service: Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Resend for email delivery, Meta (WhatsApp Business) for internal request notifications, and Cal.com if you choose to book a call. These providers may process data outside Türkiye. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Retention
Request details are kept for as long as your request and any working relationship continue, and as long as legal obligations require. Personal data from the website check tool is deleted after 180 days. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in the email.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, correction or deletion, learn who it was shared with, object, and claim compensation. Send requests to hello@theboldmark.com; we reply within 30 days.
